   I was there at the match, I was there at the press conference with arsene wenger and arsene was kind to let me have a picture taken with him. i loved it.

   So to the match:
   + Fripong very strong in the middle of the park
   + Nasri awesome too
   + Wilshere: the boy has (finally) matured
   + Verm the man (btw. captain for the 2nd half) excellent after replacing the injured Djourou. News on Djourou (according to Arsene) is that he should be fit for the weekend.
   - Apart from the goal, theo was absent for the entire half. he was strolling around. Very disappointed. Expecting him to tore apart Neusiedl
   - Arshavin: very moody today – workrate really not good.

   Now the press conference:
   - Arsene confirmed that Cesc and VP are returing to Arsenal on the 5th August. We should ignore the “noise” from Spain regarding Cesc. that boy is staying put. However, both will probably be too short of training for the first premier league game.
   - Bendtner will not be available for the start of the season. Injury.
   - He has no news on Sol. They had agreed to give eachother a break but Arsene asked the journalists today whether Sol had already signed for Newcastle. Looked a bit surprised.
   - He is in the market for a center-back
   - Rosicky was injured today – should be back this weekend.
   - Same with Denilson, Song and Diaby
   - He had a grin on his face when asked about goalkeepers. As for whether Alum has a future at the club now that he played the 1st half, he said of course. He brought all four keepers to Austria and each got 45 mins.

   It was awesome to see some of the players this close and of course the pic with arsene!!!!

   btw i think arsene should go for de jong, a good versatile player who will be cheapp since man shitty is goin on a mega sale… the guys can play both central and defensive midfield, i think oon some occasion has even played in defense… and he has also been pretty good for city last season… with him and song it will be good competition in tht spot.

   Nigel De Jong? No. He’s filthy. Please leave players like that out of the Arsenal. I don’t care how effective it was at the World Cup, players like De Jong and Van Bommel are scum.

   I’ve seen Vela scored chip shots twice and both are remarkable. He should start more games to get more experience and get matured as a player. I think he’s going to be great.

    vela actually scored 3 chip shots… one was at the carling cup the season before last where he got a hatrick

    Wilshere s looking good. he’ll make a good replacement for cesc, given his future at speculation ryt nw.

    Walcott missed some sitters. thts a bit disappointing. hope he rectifies that and goes on to have a fruitful season this year.

    Irish Gooner, I think Vela may have even gotten more than 4 lobs. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen at least 5 including the goal against Neusiedl.
